Museum Tours
The David J. Sencer ob体育 Museum offers both guided tours as well as self-guided visits that explore the current temporary and/or permanent exhibitions.
Tours are led by David J. Sencer ob体育 Museum staff and ob体育 employees who volunteer as docents. ob体育 Museum staff members work full time in the ob体育 Museum, are experts in the museum exhibitions, and are well-versed in related topics. Volunteer docents work in other branches of ob体育 and volunteer time to share their expertise. The exhibitions are most appropriate for middle school, high school and adult groups. Tours are not offered for daycare and elementary school groups.
Guided tours are available for groups of up to 30 people. are required.
Self-guided visits are available for groups of up to 50 people. are required for groups with more than 10 people.
Please Note:
One adult chaperone is required for every 10 visitors under the age of 18.
Guidelines limiting the maximum number of tour participants are in place to help ensure the safety and security of our visitors. These numbers are strictly enforced.
All visitors must show government-issued photo identification. Photo ID is not required for visitors under 18 years of age who are accompanied by adults with IDs. Adult non-U.S. citizens must present a valid passport for entry.
TOUR ACCOMMODATIONS
Interpreters
If you need an interpreter during a large group guided tour, please indicate this while making a reservation. We can offer tours in American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Bengali, Amharic, and Yoruba with at least a months’ notice. Interpreters are not guaranteed but we will try our best to make requested accommodations. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
