During 2023, rates of reported cases of acute hepatitis C were highest in persons aged 30–39 and lowest in persons aged 0–19 years. From 2022–2023, rates decreased among persons aged 30–39, remained stable among persons aged 0–29, and increased among persons aged 40 years and older.
