In 2023, rates of reported cases of acute hepatitis B ranged from a low of 0.4 cases per 100,000 population among non-Hispanic Asian/Pacific Islander persons to a high of 1.1 cases per 100,000 population among non-Hispanic Black persons. From 2022–2023, rates increased in all racial and ethnic groups except non-Hispanic White persons.
