Key points

In 2023, rates of reported cases of hepatitis A ranged from a low of 0.3 cases per 100,000 population among non-Hispanic American Indian/Alaska Native persons and non-Hispanic Black persons, to a high of 0.8 cases per 100,000 population among Hispanic persons. From 2022–2023, rates increased among non-Hispanic Asian/Pacific Islander persons and Hispanic persons and decreased among all other racial and ethnic groups.
