Alzheimer's Disease: HBI Road Map for American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples

The Road Map for American Indian and Alaska Native Peoples is designed to support discussion about dementia and caregiving in tribal communities and to encourage a public health approach—as part of a larger, collaborative response. The Road Map offers actions to improve brain health throughout life. It promotes health equity by using a strength-based approach that honors the diverse American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) cultures. It is developed with respect to tribal sovereignty and is influenced by the traditions of the AI/AN peoples.

Best Practices User Guide: Health Equity in Tobacco Prevention and Control

This user guide offers staff in tobacco control programs and other partners information on evidence-based strategies, real-world examples, and resources and tools to help achieve health equity when planning, implementing, and enforcing tobacco control policies.

Reducing Cancer Disparities Through Partnerships

NCCDPHP awarded funds to three research organizations to learn what works to advance health equity in cancer. These projects are some of the first to address systemic racism as a key driver of health inequities in communities of color.
